Physical and Chemical Properties of Citric Acid.

Citric Acid appears to be white granules when in Chemical Form.

It is also found in fruits such as Oranges, Grapefruits, Lemons- that's what give the fruit the tang.

It is odorless in Chemical Form.

Citric Acid is an Organic Acid.

Contact with dry Citric Acid can result in skin, respiratory, and eye irritation. If exposure continues for a long period of time, it may also cause an allergic reaction in some individuals.
 
Citric Acid is a stable compound. It is incompatible with oxidizing agents, bases, reducing agents, and nitrates.
